Deleting Classified Ads: -- This Process Has Changed, Please Read Thoroughly!!!:
Note: This process has changed, please read these instructions thoroughly on the proper procedure on how to update your Ad's status to sold. We've made this very fast and easy (takes less than 10 seconds to update). To do this correctly, simply click on the "Update" link next to your ad, and just change the Price and Contact fields to "SOLD" only. This is all that is needed, you're all done! Do not update the Title (we'll explain why below):
Please do no update the titles and descriptions to sold, please use the Price and Contact fields for this. This is important, because the Ads url originates from the title and instead of updating the current listing, this creates a new, duplicate listing without changing the old ad. Instead of updating the title to SOLD, please just update the PRICE and CONTACT fields only to the word SOLD. It's quick (takes only seconds) and easy, and the words SOLD are highly visible this way and others cannot contact you as well (as you've replaced your contact info with the word SOLD. After you do this process once, you'll see how fast and easy it is and how it works.
Also note, the Ads will also be auto deleted into the archive after 60 days as well without any further action from you. If updating the status of your Ad will not work and/or you have a special request in regards to the removal of your ad, please contact us at the email found below.
How to Unsubscribe From Forum Topics:
Subscribing and Unsubscribing from topics is easy! Simply read our Subscribing and Unsubscribing From Forum Topics article.
Inserting (or embedding) Photos Directly into Forum Posts:
You may simply attach a photo, however for a much better look and feel "inserting" them directly into the forum post is generally preferred. To do this, simply whenever you're adding photos, make sure you click on "Insert" after the file is uploaded (and before you click submit) and that'll embed your images directly into the posts. Note the "insert button" will be visible as soon as you locate the file and you need to click on "insert" BEFORE you click "Submit". If you missed the insert button and have already clicked submit, you can go back anytime and simply "edit" your post and click the insert button at that time.
Ebay Widget:
Normally, clickable links are not allowed in the forum, however there is a way to link to Ebay using Javascript using the provided Ebay widget tool (shown in the editor toolbar when making forum posts). Please use this tool for any and all links to an Ebay item (which uses safer Javascript linking instead of html linking). This is a special tool we've added to this site's forum that allows you to link to items of interest in Ebay, without damaging the site. Please note, this Ebay "tag" tool is the only form of Ebay links allowed. As long as you use this tool (which uses Javascript links instead of html clickable links) you may link to items on Ebay.
To use this feature, simply paste the EBay item number in the forum, highlight the number with your mouse and click on the Ebay widget icon and it will take care of all the rest (the Ebay item number should be shown in between Ebay tags). Conversely, you may also click on the Ebay widget first, then paste the Ebay Item Number later in between the Ebay tags (either way works).
Not only does this provided Ebay widget link back to Ebay in a safe manner, it will also show item images along with auction date/end times too (so it's both a safer and better way of linking too)!
All other forms of links to Ebay (including affiliate links) are not permitted, so please use the Ebay widget tool provided. We built this tool specifically for showing Ebay items without damaging this site, so please use this tool only if you want to link to an Ebay item.
